Deborah Does Playboy One-time teen Pop sensation Deborah Gibson will be posing nude in the March issue of Playboy magazine, reports Liz Smith in The New York Post. The pictorial will coincide with a new single titled "Naked." Gibson is also readying a remake of the Daryl Hall & John Oates classic "Rich Girl" for a forthcoming album.
Besides a successful Pop music career, Gibson, 34, has toured with Grease, Gypsy and Funny Girl, and landed on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast and at Studio 54 in Cabaret. Her pictorial follows in the footsteps of other '80s music stars, including one-time rival Pop idol Tiffany and Belinda Carlisle of The Go Go's. Gibson says she's not doing it to promote anything but rather to "free herself" from old inhibitions, reports Smith. She will accomplish both when the March issue hits newsstands on February 11.
