Pygmalion Projects

A Pygmalion project is when someone tries to make their loved ones more like them instead of respecting the differences that drew them together in the first place.
I usually think people in general are too insensitive.
What do you tend to start Pygmalion projects about?

English is the only thing I "try" to change, but she asks me to correct her. I am not sure it that makes it a Pygmalion project?

It's more of a personality thing... trying to make others in our lives (not necessarily in romantic relationships) more extroverted or more down-to-earth etc.
