Shaun of the Dead I just saw this movie and liked it but I think it got a little bit serious. It had some great laughs though. I by no means dissapointed but I'm not sure if it's quite the cult classic people are making it out to be. Is it that great? Did anyone not like it at all? | |

I fuckin loved it. It DID get a bit fucking gory and serious towards the end, but it had me in such stitches at the beginning and middle that I think it is a cult classic, for sure!
One to buy on DVD!  | |

LOVE THIS MOVIE.
The Prince mentions were hilarious. I'm such an 80's geek that right when he pulled out the sleeve to one of the records he was going to throw, I knew it was BLUE MONDAY by NEW ORDER. I liked that it was gory, funny and dramatic. I mean, when his stepdad talks to him in the car (I wont ruin it) I got a little misty. I bought it. In the audio commentary one of the guys said that he was a Prince fan but that ""Batman" was the begining of the downturn but I did like "Diamonds And Pearls" after that." Those scenes were funny as hell. | |

Love Queen in the fight scene. I thought this movie was hiliarous! And 'Dawn' and 'Tim' from "The Office" are in it; what's not to love?! "She made me glad to be a man" | |

In a backyard when Shaun's group meets the other "oddly similar" group of people led by Yvonne, Lucy Davis (Dianne) played Dawn the receptionist on "The Office", and Martin Freeman (Declan) played Tim. Their relationship was one of the major plot lines on that series. "She made me glad to be a man" | |

Great film. It did get a bit serious towards the end, but it was still off the meat rack. Great effects also.
Better than that Dawn of the Dead remake.  "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "
