That reference to AIM/Messenger being for realtime folks was because with those things you get the messages more immediately than with .org chat Ofcourse, a proper real time chat would be crap because you'd see everyone deleting their stuff and changing it until they get what they're trying to say to make sense. I guess it would be funny to watch!
