For the first time in like 18 years....

There will be no new Star Trek on TV. Apparently they are cancelling Enterprise only after 4 seasons. With only 98 episodes in the can...it only beats the original out by 18 episodes. It appears that Star Trek...at least for now has run the course.

Personally, I could care less about Enterprise. After plunking myself down for 7 yrs with Voyager...I was going to need a strong ST series to keep me watching. Not that Voyager wasn't good...but by the end it was eyeroll after eyeroll and they completed the series with a 2 pt "already home" to cinch it up mad Though for the most part it was entertaining.

Enterprise, though built on all of the BAD things that were wrong with Voyager. I was grabbing the vomit bucket every 5 seconds. And the theme song UGH... ill ...:vomit: what were they thinking? I had to mute it each time. I would NOT say that the song was the reason I stopped watching...but it was up there.

I watched Voyager for a season or two before I got bored with the "Lost in Space" crap. But I am curious...the finale was "Already Home?" How did it end up?

I stopped watching after the second series. Mainly because we cut off the cable. sigh

I think they can only do so much with a series. The one with Picard and Data just had the right mix of good characters in it. hmmm

I would have to say I am NOT a trekkie. I know the cast of the first, next gen and voyager. However I have only seen a handful of episodes of any but Voyager. And certainly when it's on...I can look away.

See it was right around the end of Season 2 that it got really good. 7 of nine came on...kes left etc.

The end was...they are already home and it's like 25 - 30yrs int he future :eyeroll: Their return was less than stellar. They were out in space a very long time. Tuvok has gone crazy. And they need to go back in time to right it all...blah blah blah. It was ok. But they cheated. Theepisode started off with them home already. I would have rather had a huge borg battle and then somehow they get whisked home for the finale. Or maybe one of the gate keepers/time travelers could have showed up (you know the ONES that got them there in the first place) and told Janeway to click her heels 3 times and she'd be home. At least that would have been better than what did happen.
