It's IML or International Male Leather Weekend. Basically leather men (and some women) come from all over the world to compete in this competition. It will be busy nightlife all up in lakeview all weekend...near Berlin. Do expect quite a few leather Daddies and such at Berlin on Prince night (Berlin is off the beaten path but it is a 4 am bar). It will be an interesting weekend...to say the least. Also it’s Princefest Weekend. How do you guys feel about that? Are you going to it? Should we include it in our activities? Personally, I see nothing that I wanna go to with it…also keep in mind I do my own Prince Monthly…and probably it’ll be the weekend before I come out there, so I’ll be on the verge of tipping the Prince scales. Are there other things that you guys may want to do? Chicago is a big city and has many attractions and things to do, so feel free to mention things (everyone may not want to go…but some may want to join you) OK that’s the update!!! Hey All, Just want 2 give U a "heads-up" on an upcoming event that will b happening during the week-end of May 28th - 29th, 2005!!! Julian (from Julians Ride) just informed me ChiTown will b hosting the "PurpleFunk Fest", which in the past was known as the "Prince Fest". The "Fest", are normally held in Ohio so U can imagine how excited we were to find out this this year's "fest" will be in the Chicago area. The "PurpleFunk Fest" will b a gathering 4 Prince "fams" from all over...a time 4 partying (live music from Julians Ride!!!), meet and greet, sharing of Princely stories and collectibles... just a good time! This will also b the week-end of the The Berlin party, so we can all gather-up and head over 2 the Chicago NPGMC Party at the end of the "Fest"!!! It's cool that there will be some more Princely things to do etc. No cost has been posted yet and it's not exactly close to anything. Let me know your thoughts on this...I don't know the folks putting this on. sounds ok i guess just post the meetup info... and we can decide from there...i still wanna make sure we have the party meetup for Cborgman .... and i am doin my boat ride even if i have to go alone  i am okay with whatever we do, as long as we are all together. my birthday wish is just that.
