Mary Poppins and St. Paul's When I was little, Mary Poppins was one of my favourite movies. My favourite song from the movie then and even now was "Feed the Birds".
Last year when I was in the UK, I went to St. Paul's Cathedral. It's SO beautiful! Even though I knew there wasn't going to be any "bird woman" offering me bird food for 2 p. for some reason I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed when I didn't see her. Silly, I know. It's funny how things we experience as small children -even seemingly insignificant things like movies -can shape our expectations of things. Any thoughts or input on this? There is a mad bag lady that shuffles around st pauls feeding the birds, is that better? Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

And they just discovered an unused song from the movie too! got it on the 2 disc DVD set. song kinda sucks, cause it's only the sherman brothers singing it, not julie Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton
