Why do some men wear sooooo much, and I mean SOOOOO much aftershave/cologne? I feel faint! Its yucky, too over powering and yucky..


ok.. I know gals sometimes over squirt their cough! I mean perfume.. but WHY???

I don't use any. It makes me too.

I find that fragrances can be intrusive of other peoples space. Sometimes the aroma does the opposite of what u envisioned and it defeats the purpose. Colognes are for u and the people in your immediate area (like a significant other) not for everyone in a room to smell your Paco Rabbit or whatever that shit is. At that point, its just offensive.

Stuff you can smell when you are not right up close nearly licking their ears is just gross.I hate over powering perfumes. I think you should have to snugglwe in to get the pretty smells.

I find some mens cologne/aftershave tooooo overpowering, and that goes for women too. I just put a little perfume on - I hate the thought of stinking like a skunk.

I never use anything like that. We use unscented detergent and unscented soap. But the avon body soaps are great!

I know some younger men (usually not women) that seem like they have just bathed in the stuff. I can't even breath near them. I guess they think it's sexy.

I work in perfumery, and even though my nose SHOULD be desensitized to all dat, it'z not!! And unless da fragrance im sprayin is incredibly light, i DO spray all over my body but not incessantly. The idea is to have a 'wafting' effect- in my opinion anyway!! I know some people who love to spray themselvez up- they're choice totally but what peez me off most about dat is i can't smell myself damn it, and i feel inclinded to spray more so it balances out- but i don't cause i dont wanna smell overpowering!!

I think some people really like to say "IM HEREZ!" with their fragrance- i don't fink it'z necessary- a waft is all datz needed
