Snacks that are just WRONG



Dried Cuttlefish! THese acually look tame...but the other "authentic" ones look like actual cuttle fish (cuz they ARE). My ex-roomie used to eat this crap. Made me nautious just thinking about it.

I once walked into this snack/sweet shop in Chinatown in San Francisco (but I think the place was Japanese ). There were bins and bins of delicious goodness, little chocolate coins, Pocky, licorice, stuff like that. But as you rounded the corner, things started to get a little weird. There were bins of what looked like dried mini-crabs (real crabs, mind you) covered in sesame seeds. And some kind of squid looking jerky.
