No, but I hear she's a lot of fun (although I knew nothing of the blowtorch fetish). I think she is into jewlry, however. Give it a try. wink

Sorry, not very helpful, I know. But the thread WAS getting lonley and, you know, it was kind of hanging there, waiting for comment. Anyway, pay no attention to idiot in the corner. boxed

Yes yes yes. I know about polymer clay. I have made stuff with it. It's easy to work with and what I love is that it comes in all kinds of crazy colors...including glow in the dark. For about oh 12 bucks you can make all of your x-mas gifts...no joke. The thing in once you get into it you can learn how to do all kinds of things.

Though some things are super easy and cut-out-able stuff or making "snakes" and briading them. Once you get good...you may wanna try to do "rolls" or

which is basically a bunch of rolls put together and a wrap around it. This one is easy. And the thing is with a roll you get like 10 of these.

Anything with a picture..like a flower..a dolphin, a sun etc takes more work and practice. Though I have seen some really really nice ones at Burning Man...(big ole things that legend has it a polymer shop in hong kong closes shop for 3 months just to work on these special designs...anyway) I have to say that a lot can be achieved just by making your own special design that just comes together. Polymer has a way of blending to that gives it a cool effect.

an example of random beauty...

The only downside is that it stains and can burn. I liked working with it and I highly recommend it.
