i behaved very badly toward OdysseyMiles here yesterday and accused him of having a racist agenda.

i was angry about other anti-white threads in another forum and i overreacted then crossed the line.

i was an asshole.

i take it back and i apologize. i'll try to behave better here in the future.

so where does that leave me? i don't want to be evil, but what if i'm so hopelessly 'white background' that i'll never be able to cross the divide by my point of view i? what if it's not possible for me to ever really understand what it feels like to be black? that means i'm forever destined to be, by my definition 'racist' or 'perceiving reality from a standpoint of cultural/ethnic bias'

if different cultures, ethnicities, creeds and commonlaws can't even learn to live together peacefully, let alone lovingly, in tolerance of our differing beliefs (politics, religion) how can we ever learn to look past the color bridge to live in peace?

i've traveled to parts of the world where the people are darker skinned than me. i know what it feels like to stand out in a crowd. but i don't know what it feels like to come from an african american person's standpoint, with the rape and pillage of my heritage bloodstaining the ground i have to walk with white people. i can't know firsthand. i imagine it sucks

would it be too insane or tacky for me to get the name of a good make-up artist and turn myself black for a month? a year?

or maybe we should all be 'asianized' as AsianBomb777 said. if everyone tattooed themselves the same color would things be better?
