I'm watching "The Simpsons" right now and cracked the fuck up when Moe, whose bar was shut down by the health inspectors, suggested they go across the street to drink....at "The League of Exta-Horny Gentlemen" bar, which was playing Kylie Minogue's "I Can't Get You Outta My Head". Kylie, no referenced in "the Simpsons", has offically made it! Anyway, the reason for starting this thread is that I was wondering if anyone heard about the upcoming episode where one of Marge's sisters, Patty, comes out and has a gay wedding. It sounds funny as hell, considering she was always asexual and Selma, her sister, was always man hungry. Does anyone know when this will air, or, if as a result of the elections, might have just been an idea that might not happen now.

Patty was discovered to be gay in the gay parade episode. Her and Smithers waved from inside of a closet on a float.

The question is, what's up with Lenny and Carl?

I wonder if the Patty's wedding thing was just a rumour. They made it sound like it was going to the opener this year. My thoughts about this have come down to 2 characters...
Duffman and Rainier "McBain" Wolfcastle...
Think about it...
Both are "man's men"...so was Rock Hudson in his day...
Both never appear in public with a woman...unless it's a staged event...
Both are characters that really don't have much to do in the Simpson's universe...therefore, the effect can be long-lasting and still not be earth-shattering...providing a few more good stories of character development before the well runs completely dry...
But, hey...that's just my opinion...
