Had to revive this 'cause I just remembered a favourite line. I'm not much of an Elvis Costello fan (personally, I think he's overrated and his lyrics try too hard to be clever, at the expense of genuine emotion; he's also a relentless cultural climber), BUT this line always kills me (from "The Other Side of Summer"):

"Wasn't it a millionaire who said 'Imagine no possessions'?"
