I always needed glasses. I got a lazy eye and my vision with that eye is 50% of what the other eye sees, and the other eye is not that perfect either.
But I never liked wearing glasses. and since I never wore them, so I never knew the difference. it all looked normal to me.
After the army service I got new glasses, and even though I saw much better, it was never comfortable. I liked falling asleep in front of the TV, and of course falling asleep with your glasses on is not that fun.
Also, every sport I want to do is harder with glasses on.
a couple of years ago I took them off and never wore them again. I feel fine, I see enough, as far as I'm concerned. Though if there was a surgery that could fix this problem, and one that I can afford. I'd take it.
