This show really was the shit when it was on. It was a great alternative 2 "Millionaire". I've been watching reruns of it on the Game Show Network every night. All the people that couldn't stand Anne Robinson didn't seem 2 get the humor that came out of her bitchiness. I still think the whole show is just plain hilarious!

Anne Robinson became a parody of herself on that show in becoming more insulting. I don't even think she has to try too hard to be like she is on The Weakest Link as I think she is to some extent a generally unpleasant person anyway.

Mind you, you did get the odd dumbass ass on there...

Anne Robinson: 'Which 18th Century novel by Herman Melville was about a killer whale?'

Contestant: 'Jaws'.

I miss this show as well.
From what I understand, the show still airs in the UK.

I don't get the Game Show Newtwork unless I'm on campus, , but this was one show I never could get into. I love watching old Love Connection shows whenever I get the chance though

the US version messed it up. I would watch every night. I think that once the show turned into Celebrity Link...is where it went bad. No one cared if these fools got the money or not...neither did those who were on it. And then there was the gaming part that took place behind the scenes...Anne caught on tio this a few times and she wasn't pleased. Neither was I. The first time it was sorta funny, but not and then even the celebrities did it. I stopped watching.
