1. My heart will always be in San Francisco.

2. Nantucket. So quaint.

New Orleans is the shit! Top one...

Long Beach is lovely.

And Miami until I moved there. It was great to visit. Moving there ruined it for me! But it is still up there.

Well party towns are hard to actually live in I think. New Orleans, Miami, etc...great to visit, but live....Naaaaahhhhh

I LOVE MIAMI.

But of course I live in Tampa, so I only visit it from time to time.
It's infectious and upbeat. LOVE IT

I love any city that has a broad range of nationalities to coexist with. That being said here are my top 3!

3. Los Angeles...it could easily be number 1 because of the weather and the beautiful rainbow of people, except the entertainment industry out here taints a lot of personalities here. Namedropping, Unneccessary Attitudes and Profiling, Snobbish attitudes and Property Values.

2. New York. There is nothing better than a Summer spent in NYC...outdoor activities, food, cultures, but that damn New York attitude makes me only tolerate that city for about five days tops!

1. CHICAGO....This place has the diversity, culture, cost of living is moderate...but damn the Winter and Summers are extreme! I still love it for being New York without the attitude!

I think I've been to St. Augustine before... hmmm

Is that the place that has the lighthouse and the really old fort (or whatever) which served as an outpost of some sort back in like the 1700's??...Looks REAL spooky and cool at night with the lights making it stand out in the dark??...

1) San Francisco - Well it is home. It's quirky, crazy, unique. It's cool that it gets lots of love, but yeah it's not liveable for the faint of pocketbook.

2) Chicago - I've been there three times. I really love that it has actual seasons, although I have not experienced Spring there. It's probably the only other major city that I would like to live in or near.

3) Manhattan/Harlem, NY - It's all about the culture and character. Although it's been 10 years since I've last been there, I remember the experience fondly.

I love love love Portland... it's big enough but doesn't really have the bigtown feeling. And I love the atmosphere and the weather and the people and it's very nostalgic. I'm not too much a fan of San Francisco, but maybe because I grew up near it. yawn.

Isn't NYC supposed to be near on unbearably humid during the Summer? No thanks!

My choice is probably Chicago or San Diego.

It has humid days, just like anyplace else. But sometimes it doesn't even get hot. Now Orlando... shake I'll never go back there in the summer. I spent the whole trip in front of the air conditioner.

NYC is no more humid in the summer than Chicago is.
