Your favorite city in the U.S. I love any city that has a broad range of nationalities to coexist with. That being said here are my top 3!
3. Los Angeles...it could easily be number 1 because of the weather and the beautiful rainbow of people, except the entertainment industry out here taints a lot of personalities here. Namedropping, Unneccessary Attitudes and Profiling, Snobbish attitudes and Property Values. 2. New York. There is nothing better than a Summer spent in NYC...outdoor activities, food, cultures, but that damn New York attitude makes me only tolerate that city for about five days tops! 1. CHICAGO....This place has the diversity, culture, cost of living is moderate...but damn the Winter and Summers are extreme! I still love it for being New York without the attitude! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

You mean there are other cities in the U.S. besides New York and Los Angeles?

Ex-Moderator | My top 2 US cities are San Francisco and New Orleans. Love 'em both! San Francisco's a bit too pricey for me to consider a move and I couldn't take the bugs in New Orleans (not to mention I'd just get myself into too much trouble there ) but if I lived anywhere else in the US it would likely be either of those. |

I'll choose from the cities I've been to, been to more but here's the top 5:
5. New York - fun place, impressive but drives me mad after 3 days 4. Washington DC area - I like the historical aspect and I have a lot of friends there! 3. Chicago - great place, great people 2. Boston - well, I've lived there, guess I'll always love Bawston 1. San Fransisco - I love almost everything about this city, and no, I am not gay!

Hmm...
San Francisco...(it's just gorgeous and romantic up there, and in the surrounding areas) Washington, D.C....(the history alone makes it beautiful, but the architecture and the significance of what surrounds you had a profound effect. And the cherry blossoms blooming along the river are gorgeous..) San Diego:...(the weather is always gorgeous, the views are beautiful...and I love Balboa Park..) Aren't too many other cities that I'm crazy about, to be honest... [Edited 1/27/05 12:03pm] [Edited 1/27/05 15:02pm]

1st) SAN FRANCISCO: Romance, natural beauty, great architecture, liberal politics, perfect weather, FOOD!!!, cultural diversity and it's about as far away as you can possibly get from Cleveland without totally leaving the country.
2nd) BOSTON: History, an intellectual and literary bastion, liberal, an old-world (i.e., European) look and feel, proximity to both Canada and many other cool U.S. cities along the eastern seaboard, big, but not too big. ...Now if only they weren't both so DAMNED expensive! * NEW ORLEANS gets honorable mention. I just can't take too much heat and humidity... and gators don't sit too well with me either. [Edited 1/28/05 11:00am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

New Orleans is the shit! Top one...
Long Beach is lovely. And Miami until I moved there. It was great to visit. Moving there ruined it for me! But it is still up there. Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. Use of Viagra not authorized. Get your two minutes and go!
