Palpitations I had a palpitation today. I hadn't been feeling too good all day - a bit sickly and dizzy. I went to bed for an hour in the afternoon and then walked to my parents' house to go see them.
Well, as I was walking there. I had this heart palpitation. It wasn't like a panic attack. It was one palpitation and I had to stop walking and just stand where I was. I felt like I'd been lifted slightly off the ground for a split-second. It came out of nowhere. When I've had panic attacks in the past, it's been a slow build-up, usually leading to me fainting but this was just one head-rush and a split-second feeling of disorientation. I felt a bit spaced-out for about a minute-or-so afterwards but fine as I carried on walking.

I guess the thread title is misleading because it wasn't palpitations it was just one big one. I've never had anything like that before. It was odd.

It did make me re-think my lifestyle for all of ten minutes. When I got home, I deleted all the porn on my PC again.

I never eat brekkie. I always feel sick when I wake up. I can't even force something down because I've never got the time.

Oh my God, years ago when I was single and misguided I used to dabble in really yummy yet nasty things, and I used to do the delete thing EVERYNIGHT in fits of paranoia. My phone bills used to be sky-rocket because when I'd sober up I'd get all rational (or irrational?) and try and replace it all Anyway I have palpitations sometimes but I haven't died from them so I assume I'm alright. I kinda figure that it can palp all it wants, but if it's gonna kill me then it's not gonna be messing around with measily palps. It's kinda like San Francisco waiting for the 'big one' ..... BULLSEYE!

Hello honey,
it can be scary but nothing a little valium can't solve, I've been having palpitations for the best part of 8 years through a heart condition, you really should get checked out by a doctor don't do anything too strenious until then you have had tests echo cadiograms and fitness tests are on the cards but it will be worth it in the end

Try cutting back on the caffeine. When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Regardless of the day, I'm glad you were born.
