So I live in a house with 3 other guys and our house has been in a constant state of filth. So, we finally bit the bullet and started a maid service! They're gonna be coming every two weeks! I took a half day off work so I could show them what to clean etc and they're working away right now! Now, when ladies come over, they won't be grossed out by my bathroom (that means that I'll actually have the chance to get them naked and gross them out with my fat belly and man boobs!).

We're gonna be paying about $200 a month - does that seem reasonable? It's through a maid service....

$200 a month? for coming every 2 weeks?
hmm...I have no clue what it really costs but to me it sounds expensive. though maybe it depends how filthy your house is

It's a lot when you could just do it yourself.....

i have a friend who hires someone to clean her apartment every week, and i think she pays the person like $40 a week for a couple of hours work...not such a horrible deal, i guess, if you can't stand doing housework. me, i'm kinda used to it, though i do pay the people at my laundromat to do my laundry.

That's about right sweetie, although you could have saved yourself some money by cleaning before they came to do the estimate!I pay $87 every other week and it's worth every penny to me. Also, agencies are definately worth it because if they break something or slack off it's easier to remedy the situation!
