Computer Died,Techies lead me back to Prince.org Hey, My computer just died a few months ago. I have to go to the Library just to check email. I am told that even though I am running XP, I need a Windows 98 Boot Disk, due to the drivers or something. I have an old HP Pavillion from around 1999. It acutally ran pretty fast with Broadband...but now it just says "Insert Service Disk and Press Enter.." no matter what I do. All the support pages tell me to "download this..or download that.." How do you download, when you can't even get the thing to work? Anyways, if anyone can help..please send me an ORG NOTE. Thanks...

Hmmm... well I still haven't mastered the art of orgnoting, but I think I know a little bit about computers. A friend of my father's used to know someone who rented one once for a party (can you rent computers? Anyway...)
First try de-installing the zipper drive until the DMX card reads "Ready LIGHT"; then you're ready to start de-ionizing the keyboard frange. This must be done gently as to not destablilize the board systems memory boot. You can do it. It's tricky, but if my father's friend can rent a computer, you can de-ionize a keyboard frange. Then just restart your motherboard and click on GD and here we should be.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown
