There's been a terrible rail crash in Southern California. A man who was contemplating suicide parked his car on a RR Xing. He subsuquently decided not to die, but Instead of moving his car, he simply got out of it leaving it on the tracks to cause the disaster. About a hundred are injured, a minimum of 9 have died. One being a LA County Sherrif's Officer, who happened to be an aquantaince of my old roommates, who is also an LA County Sherrif's Officer. Everyone please offer their condolances for this tragic loss. All 9 lives lost(so far) in this accident are invaluable and missed.

Saw that on the news this morning. Tragic.

I woke up this morning about 20 minutes after it happend. I cannot believe someone would do this. I live few miles South of where it happened...I hear the train every 20 minutes as the railroad is about a block away from my apartment. It was really sad and frightening!

This is scary because I, and others from my job, ride these trains all the time!

that's very sad news.
Something tells me that this man who contemplated suicide, will probably add this to his concience and probably will change his mind again amd go for it.

I heard reports that they are going to charge the man with homicide in all the deaths. Good. What a fucking idiot
