I hear ya, the water is as blue as the sky, which to me, is awesome. I love palm trees too, there's just something about them. Hawaii is another place that I've never been that I just gotta go to as well. My parents have been there several times, and they said that it's beautiful there too. sigh

The beaches in Florida have pretty clean sand too, especially around the Siesta Key area (near Sarasota). I hate dirty beaches too, it just turns me off. ill Being able to sip a drink while laying in the hammock does sound like heaven, my kinda place. I just love the beach!! nod

U have 2 watch ur step at local beaches incase u step on a syringe these days.

So, my buddy George goes to Fiji with someone he didn't know that well. George has alot of tattoos and is kind of a pirate in his own regard (rape and pillage, drinks alot) and they are staying at some resort. In the first few hours of being there, George notices that the resort treats the all of the locals like shit. That shouldn't fly with anyone and of course it doesn't with George. He leaves the resort and blows off his new friend until it's time to go back on the plane. His tales of wild adventure are too vast (and questionable) to go on about but the pictures were his naked ass drinking Kava in HUGE vats or his huge ass in a grass skirt (and nothing else) were funny. I mean he was in a hut with a dirt floor and a fire, it was hysterical. That's when I was introduced to Kava and I've had a lot more since I've been to Hawaii.

My Fiji story

I would love to see some deserted beaches, that definitely would be awesome! woot! No people around, just you and nature. Gotta love it!! It's nice that you've been able to see some quiet beaches, I've only been to the public ones so far. It is sad what people have done to the beaches. I would hate to step on a syringe, yikes!! omfg

I would also like to some day go to Australia and New Zealand, it looks gorgeous there too. woot!

The first time I went to Koh Phangan in Thailand with my friend, we stayed in a place called Laem Son Bungalows. It was just a handful of huts on a secluded beach. The only people staying there were myself, my friend, a girl from the UK and two people running the place. We had the whole beach to ourselves! I need to go back there, but I fear what may have changed in the last 3 years.
