I applaud the effort, but actually I was looking for a verse sung from the fish's point of view. You know - about how he got to "live like he was dying". I mean, here's this guy singing about about the prospect of rapidly encroaching death inspiring him to do things he always wanted to do, one of which is doing more fishing - which kills fish. Not that I'm a vegetarian, but am I the only one who sees the irony here? What about the fish? Doesn't he at least get a verse?
