I've been a big fan of Jamie and it's great to see someone who has entertained you come up real big. He can give you a moving performance and then also make you laugh your ass off! He also sings really good and I can't wait to hear his album when it comes out. I also hope that John Debney wins for best music score for The Passion Of The Christ because that score was so moving especially during the crucifxion scene. I feel the film deserves that award. Well then! In that case, I'm supportig Benning but have less than no interest in seeing that movie she is in!

now thats a strange beast....its not even a true documentary but more a recreation of facts acted out by the actors who were the actual people that inspired the film makers to document the story... Space for sale...

I know. I was surprised to see it considered a "documentary" (especially in such an official manner as the Academy Awards). I actually thought it was more of a narrative, except for the camel part. It's a pretty amazing film. Very interesting that it slipped into the awards, considering how understated and uncategorizable it is -- and also considering that the stars are really the camels. Next time they should have a "Best Animal Actor Award".
