Greatest Super Bowls ever? I have been watching Super Bowls for 25 years. I know that there were some great ones before then, but these get my votes:
1. Super Bowl XXV (Giants over Bills) -- The best of the bunch. As Big Dog mentioned, the specter of Gulf War seemed to make the game even more dramatic. Both teams played their absolute guts out. That game changed the course of history. Had the Bills won that one they'd have won at least 1 more. 2. Super Bowl XXXIV (Rams over Titans) -- Sheer drama. The game was decided on a game-saving tackle at the 1-yard line, preventing overtime. It had ebbs, flows, big plays, and it didn't disappoint. 3. Super Bowl XXXVI (Pats over Rams) -- 1st SB after 9/11, so it was karma that the Pats won. I got goosebumps when the Pats came out together as a team. That one moment changed the course of the franchise, IMHO. 4. Super Bowl XVII ('Skins over Dolphins)-- The game swung back and forth and culminated in perhaps the most dramatic run in SB history, Riggo around the corner on 4th and 1. 5. Super Bowl XXIII (49ers over Bengals) -- another great game marked by superb QB play on both sides and the most dramatic game-winning drive ever (Montana to Taylor). 6. Super Bowl XXXVIII (Pats over Panthers) -- What an effort by both teams, and a courageous performance by Jake Delhomme. 7. Super Bowl XXXII (Broncos over Packers) -- Very good game, and Elway came out on top finally. 8. Super Bowl XXX (Cowboys over Steelers) -- Good game, into doubt in the 4th, 2 O'Donnell picks sunk the Steelers in the end. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

IMHO, MY BEST...
SB XXXVIII - New England vs. Carolina. This game was well played until the end, and as much as I hate NE, those fortunate bastards got the last kick. TOO BAD it was overshadowed and forgotten once Damita Jo's titty was exposed. SB XXXIV - St. Louis vs Tennessee. SB XXXII - Denver vs Green Bay. I hate Denver as well, but John Elway's jumping for those final yards to get first down has to be respected by everyone. Never giving up sealed it for them. SB XXV - N.Y. Giants vs Buffalo. Scott Norwood, nuff said. SB XXIII - San Francisco vs Cincinnati. The last drive, nuff said. SB XX - Chicago vs New England. SB XIX - San Francisco vs Miami. My second kiss from my girlfriend was during this game. SB XVI - San Francisco vs Cincinnati. My hometown went wild when it was over. Jeux Sans Frontiers

Super Bowl Whatever (Redskins over Bills) -- Good game, only because I was in Jamaica when it was on...and they were playing it at the beachside bar I was getting a beer from..lol..AND it started out by playing Prince singing "Willing & Able".. (which was the reason I hung around instead of returning to the beach right away)...

I wouldn't say it's fortune, just a real good fucking team!

SB XXVI. I remember that too because I am a diehard Redskins fan (sorry, jersey, but I know the NFC East is the "Family Feud" division of the NFL anyways). And, as a diehard Prince fan, when i saw my man leading off the Super Bowl coverage, I KNEW my boys were going to win. Karma was on my side. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

4. Super Bowl XVII ('Skins over Dolphins)-- The game swung back and forth and culminated in perhaps the most dramatic run in SB history, Riggo around the corner on 4th and 1. This is definitely my pick. I was at the NFC Championship that year, at RFK vs. the hated Cowboys (I too am a HUGE Skins fan). The crowd was rocking the house, literally bringing the bleachers a few feet off the ground. Incredible. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

I really envy you for attending what had to be one of the sweetest Washington victories in franchise history. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Green and Monk were my heroes. This one game, however, will always stand out as the greatest of them all. Me and my best friend snuck down into the field level seats with a few minutes left on the clock. We rushed the field with the crowd at the end of the game. I was literally walking amongst dejected Cowboys on the field as the fans tore down the goalpost. It was classic. Hail to the Redskins!
