THE DONALD WEDS... Tuesday January 25, 08:00 AM Trump Ties the Knot A model bride wearing a $1.5 million engagement ring and a $200,000 wedding dress; a horde of celebrity invitees; a sumptuous feast and one, very recognizable comb-over. What more could one expect from the Donald on his (third) wedding day? The business mogul turned reality television star wed Slovenian model Melania Knauss Saturday in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony attended by some 350 guests--an intimate gathering by Trump standards. Tony Bennett (news), Katie Couric, Mark Burnett, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Barbara Walters and Billy Joel (news) were among those who watched Trump, 58, and Knauss, 34, swap vows. All four of Trump's children from his prior marriages--Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric from his marriage to Ivana Trump, and Tiffany from his marriage to Marla Maples--were also in attendance. The bride's Christian Dior wedding dress, which she modeled on the cover of the most recent issue of Vogue, reportedly weighed 50 pounds, contained 300 feet of satin and had a 13-foot train that took over 550 hours to embroider. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and resort, where they noshed on steamed shrimp salad, beef tenderloin and individual Grand Marnier chocolate truffle cakes that replicated the couple's enormous 50-pound, seven-tier wedding cake topped with 3,000 white-icing roses. Wedding guest Shaquille O'Neal told reporters that he had selected the perfect gift for the Trumps. "Phantom Rolls-Royce, a white one," the Miami Heat center said, referring to the luxury car that starts at about $325,000. "It'll be parked at my house when he wants to use it." Trump and Knauss first met in 1998 at a fashion party, but it wasn't a case of love at first sight. When Trump asked the comely model for her number, she refused. "I am not a girl who will just give away the number to anybody," Knauss told the New York Times. Especially somebody who's on a date at the time, as Trump was when the pair met. But just three days later, Knauss herself called Trump, scuttling conventional dating rules. The pair got engaged last April after living together for five years in Trump Tower. As for the future, veteran dad Trump has not ruled out the possibility of additional Trumplets. "Melania would like to have children," Trump told People magazine. "I'm up for it." In other Trump news, The Apprentice 3, which pits college grads ("Book Smarts") against non-grads ("Street Smarts") got off to a strong start last week, with 15.6 million viewers tuning in for the premiere

Miguel exactly... hey this was on Gene's website I just KNEW he'd like Donald! I reckon they'd get on like a house on fire! same wicked sense of humour among other things... Gene, You and Donald Trump seem to have a lot in common in that you are both very successful and very good at self-promotion. Have you ever met Donald? Are you two freinds? Ray Cavender Response from Gene: Donald Trump is a good guy. You'd like him. I share his opinions regarding hard work and money earned. But, we probably part ways regarding "marital bliss."

I find this circus absolutely disgusting. The way they flaut their millions is a disgrace. If the story about Shaq giving them a white Rolls Royce for a wedding gift is true, that's even more disgraceful. What a bunch of insecure fucks showing off their money like that when so many people in this world are suffering. The Trumps and Shaq should be ashamed of themselves!! People around the world are killing their babies because they can't afford to feed them and people like this just don't give a shit. Don't believe for one second that they do either. All they care about is money, money and more fucking money!

So you know whether or not they give to charity? And what their sensitivity is? Some people in the world have more money than others. While I personally think their consumption is quite ridiculous, stump for socialism or get over it.

That wedding circus was a disgrace anyway you look at it. It was to show off and that's all! Sickening!

No amount of money in the world world would make me get on my knees for that comb over. He might be rich, but he's still repulsive.
