I was a bit tipsy last night and I'd forgotten that I'd been messing around with some self-tanning wipes.

I bought them a while ago from a pound store. The wrapper says they'll give you a nice healthy glow. Well, I've only just looked into my bathroom mirror and I look like an orange lollypop.

How can I leave the house? I look like I'm wearing make-up!

It was great! We were only together for about six hours but it was fun. I'm just worried that I talked too much. I tend to go on a bit.

We only went to three bars. I think the second one was a mistake - it was a bit cramped and claustrophobic. The last bar looked like a brothel. They were giving away free beer though - so that was good.

Steadwood took loads of pictures but I'm worried about them. I don't want people laughing at me because I've got a big round head. I really have got a big round head. It's like a huge meatball.

I met them in the museum as it's pretty central, near to the bus station and free to loiter around in.

I'm glad that we went home early though. I've got a banging hangover after just six hours of beer.

as to the orange glow, not sure if i can be of much help. is there a manufacturer's tel. number listed on the package - they usually have a customer service number you can call.

i remember dabbling in that stuff in college - i've gone unfashionably pale ever since...

Massage baby oil into your skin to dissolve the self-tanner, then use an exfoliator.

I use tanning stuff in the summer to get a head start for the beach cos everyone here is already tanned but there's definitely a technique to application

I also found the cheaper the stuff, the oranger it is, but also the more easily it tends to wash out. I dunno about oil but it's worth a try!
