it is very long...but if you have a coffee in hand, it is a good read.

But basically the gist is A guy marries a woman, has 3 kids, leaves wife and kids and gets divorced, marries another woman. She asks for divorce after a while. He then ends up killing his kids and wife no. 2 and himself. The story is acually compelling. and a good read.

And as I am reading it, I find nothing remarkable...though it is completely fu**ed up you know? And I think to myself...Is this so common, that I am not really moved by this story...is it really a normal story with perhaps extraordinary endings? How common is this? And how do people get SO MESSED UP? I mean really! Are many people that unstable? Is something in the water? Cuz it ain't computing!

I guess I am more looking for a dialog...not about the story...but about peoples general states of being. I witness many who are of sound mind...yet I see lots of folks who are just crazy and mean and vindictive and messed up in general. Is this one of those things your parents DIDN'T tell you?

It takes ALOT to shock me.

Movies have to be more and more creative at the shock factor.

I saw a public beheading once on film and wasn't particulary phased by it.

I'm sickenned actually that it didnt' shock me.

It's like we're all becoming Romans and the media is our Coloseaum.
