I'd have to open the door to the kitchen to get to it and it's in the kitchen door hinge so I'm screwed.

It's probably moved over to the handle on the other side of the door by now.

man i don't know WHAT i'd do if i were in your place right now.

lately at home here i've implemented a 'catch and release' program with the little spiders who hang around. i tip a clear glass over them, slide a postcard under the glass and whisk them outdoors.

BUT a huge black widow spider would be too much. i don't think i could even relax in that house until i knew for sure where it had gone. eek
