Blind Date Next sunday I'm going on a blind date.. I'm exited but also a little nervous! 
Anybody here ever been on a blind date? Please tell me about it! The Borg... Partypoopers of the galaxy.. ( Medical Hologram )

I've been on dates where I wish I was blind (and deaf). Does this count?  When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

I've been set up a couple of times since i have been single it was horrible..
we had nothing in common, he was ermmmmm not pleasing to my eye and he was drinking archers and lemonade 
oh and when i told him i liked prince he argued with me about everything did you know... prince has never been married he is gay he will end up being exposed just like MJ  IDIOT |

I went on one blind date in my life. It was not such a good experience. 
The guy turned out to be a weirdo who had been in jail before, and who offered to steal a car for me because "he knew how".
Then later that evening his friend (who was with us with another girl) got stung by a bee and he was very allergic to bee stings and his throat started to swell up so we all ended up sitting around in the emergency room. Hopefully your blind date will be better than mine (I"m sure it couldn't be any worse)!

I've been on several blind dates and I've got a few suggestions 
- Make sure you meet in a public place...and make it a lunch or drinks...something that will be over quick in case you end up with a crazy car-jacker like Snow did 
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and the guys name, his phone number and where he lives. Call that person some time during your date to let them know you're ok
- The first few minutes are going to be really nerve-wracking...just take a deep breath and things will be fine
- Have fun!!! | |
