Well, we almost made it to the year mark.

Though I believe in my heart that it's the best thing to do, breaking up is hard to do bawl

But, it's not fair to stay in a relationship when your heart isn't in it. It's not fair to him.....So I shall move on....

Any suggestions on how to make "moving on" as painless as possible?

My ex works in the same office as me, about four desks away.

I have to pass him to get to the printer or to the coffee machine.

We haven't spoken since July really. It's completely stressing me out. I know this sounds awful, but he's on a temporary contract and I keep hoping he'll get fired. I just can't cope with seeing him laughing, smiling and joking when he made me so miserable.

It's my own fault - I broke my own rule. I vowed years ago never to date anybody at work and then I did. If ever anybody's tempted to date at work - DON'T!

Yeah, I dated a coworker when I was a teen. I worked at Taco Bell and everyone was dating--and shagging--everyone else. Oh, the drama. You couldn't pay me to do it again...

Oh, Sag.....I was hoping no one would bring that part up lol

My heart is very confused, to say the least. I love two people, I guess that's the best way to explain it. I hoping in a year from now I can sit back and laugh at this

Get his number off your cell phone ASAP ! This will avoid drunken "What am I going to do with out you" calls. You might also want to put some distance between you and "the ex", like 2 or 3 thousand miles. Go to Jamica, find a guy named St.Jock and kick it.

eek Well, getting his number off my phone wouldn't mean much since we live together lol But I totally get your advice. Now, my "Ex"....meaning the other guy I love....I did take his number off my phone, but he still calls. We have a child together, so it's hard to move on because I have to be civil with him for our son. I put distance between us for most of last year, but now we seem to be coming back to each other confused

Still unsure of what I should do

I can understand. I have a child with an ex. We went through a "Hate" period and it caused alot of problems. We never argued in front or any where near of the kid though. After about two years, we realized that we are going to have to deal with each other (i.e. graduations, first car, sports games, plays etc.), so what is the point of all the hate. We are now pretty cool with each other. I look forward to the kid getting her first car, so I don't have to drive out to her mothers house and run into her. I also count down the days until the kid is 18, and I don't have to see that "woman" anymore.

Sounds like a whole different situation lol Though my ex and I did go through a phase of not liking each other, we have now come to the conclusion that we still love each and we made mistakes, but we'd like to work them out. The only problem is, I still have a boyfriend who is really great to me and my son and I'd hate to hurt him.

Oh man thats a nasty situation, I thought I was still into my ex, then I tried to get back with him, and very very soon realised that we were making a mistake, it was all that family talk that confused me, thought I wanted to have that with him and realized that it wasnt possible.

BE VERY CAREFUL! its not only your life, its your kids life too, if you guys do get back together I hope it works out, but the moment it doesnt feel right end it, dont drag it on thats the worst thing you can do

Good Luck hug
