Today, I went out to start my car and the doors were frozen shut. I had no de-icer so I had to use a lighter to help defrost my door lock. I msut have looked pretty stupid outside in the parking lot of my apartment. Then, I made it to work and went to grab my hand lotion bottle, and it was frozen! I had never known lotion to freeze. Right now it is 13 degrees fahrenheit out and I am staying in for the remainder of the evening. I suppose, I could look at the bright side. At least I'll be spending much of the evening with my favorite orgers.

nod When I went to work this morning my hands were so cold that it took about 10 minutes for them to get pink and warm again.

It's -1 degree below here in Philly. As soon as you go outside, whatever cody part is not covered starts aching. Ouch!

I am sorry (sort of) to report it's 80 degrees in LA. After weeks of record rain and mudd slides and cooler (for LA) weather - we have this 180 weather turn-around - it's freakish I tell ya, freakish!

Ah, don't rub it in! We had our share of rain here too before this direly cold weather set in, though I must say no mudslides.
