My company did the same thing about a year ago. I managed to convince the powers that be that I have a "business need" for access to them, however.

I wonder why.

I'm continuing my education I start back at university on April the 18th and i am now going to do a degree in nursing, i've been working as a nurse for a while but never got my degree so now I'm going to do it! had my interview on thursday and it went brillient I can't wait and while i wait for april i am a volunter at an alcohol and drug rehab clinic while i get my head straight after the mess i got myself into
