Im 25, African-American, male from Detroit.
I am liberal-minded and college educated.

I am a certified personal trainer.
I love all kinds of music and live theatre.
I love Italian food (most mediterranean cuisene for that matter)
Im a mild mannered, humble, giving person. (no, Im not just saying that)

I believe that you cannot allow another person to define who you are. Once you allow that, youre dead in the water.
I believe that when people do awful things and hurt other people, they are just doing the best that they can. That is what gives me the ability to forgive people who do bad things.
I believe that all of creation is a giant pinball machine. God has pulled the lever and it is up to us to make sure that our pinball doesnt roll down the shoot.

i've been doing a fair amount of reading lately on the issue of being vs. doing, ego vs. self, etc. so i'm fascinated by the way people define themselves, including the way i have always defined myself. fascinating stuff!
