my father. he died when i was 2 years old.

My dad. I was 20 when he died, but out of those 20 years he was a part of my life for only 7. I couldn't tell you much about him, and I have a grand total of 5 pictures of him. I look forward to getting to know him in the afterlife.

My family first and then I will look for Billie Holliday, Minnie Ripperton, Phyllis Hyman and Ray Charles. First on the fam list would be my dad, grandmother (I never met her), great grandparents, my baby sister, older sister, my best friend, brother-in-law, etc. And then I would want to talk to God or Jesus, whichever one was available and ask them did he have to talk them all during the same time period of the year? Could he have spread them out a little or something. My best friend, brother-in-law and sister went on the same day. Damn, give a sista a break! Sheez!!!!!

I'd wanna talk to my dad first and foremost. He died when I was almost 7, and as I get older, I remember less and less of him. I'm always a little afraid that one day I won't remember him at all.
