Just watched the funniest movie!

"SHAUN OF THE DEAD" - just came out on DVD. It's a British comedy/"horror movie" - sort of "Napolean Dynamite" meets "Dawn of the Dead." Get it? "Shaun-Dawn" giggle Worth watching for a good laugh!

Hmmm...interesting. We must have different views on what connotes "funny." I didn't think ANYTHING about Schindler's List was funny.

I, too, liked this movie! Quite hilarious and it featured two Queen songs - woo hoo! I also liked the fact that 'Tim' and 'Dawn', from the British series "The Office", were in this film. Very good show!

I love the scene when they are beating down the pub owner with pool cues in time with Don't Stop Me Now. Brilliant.

I also love the scene when they are going through the vinyl collection to pick 12" to throw at the zombies. Paraphrasing; "Purple Rain? No. Sign o the Times? Bloody hell, no. Batman Soundtrack? Toss it."

The part with the records was hilarious. I remember seeing it in the trailer. When I saw it I thought, "Yes, I have to see this movie."

Unfornately, I don't think the movie did as well in the US as it could have probably for that very reason! You're to blame! But seriously, it should have come out with more fan faire here. I wanted to see it in the theaters but it seemed to come and go.
