It tastes like shit on it's own, but if you put it in something else, it tastes amazing.

I like to put a smidge on top of melted cheese on toast.

I've Googled and it appears to be mainly made from dates, molasses and vinegar.

Mind you, the HP stands for Houses of Parliament, which are in London, so you can understand my thickness, surely..?

HP Sauce is wonderful! I've had it all my life as my mother is from Nottingham.

The main ingredients are (someone was asking before):

Malt Vinegar, Tomatoes, Molasses, Spirit Vinegar, Dates, Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Salt, Modified Starch, Rye Flour, Tamarind Extract, Spices and Onion Extract.

Until you've tasted a Bacon sandwich on thick white bread with HP Sauce, i'm afraid you haven't lived! (apologies to any vegetarians/vegans!)
