Are CD racks played out?? More and more homes I visit no longer have cd racks, but those space-saving cd "albums" that hold many cd's and less gawdy in the home? What do you all think? As I look at my antquated wooden contraption! LOL!! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

I dont use cd rax anymore. I usually burn a cd as soon as I get it. Many times, I resell the disc after I burn it at one of those "repeat the beat" stores.

i keep most of my CDs in albums, just cuz it saves space and it's easier to get to my music that way. but some CDs - my bowie albums and my prince albums and stuff with fancy packaging - i leave as they are. and i keep my bowie and prince stuff out in CD racks, just cuz i listen to 'em the most. works for me, anyway...

I have one giant media rack in my living room with CDs and DVDs and books as well. I also have CD racks and books in my office. I like em both for different reasons.

I have 2 CD racks that i love and they're both in my living room. The a vertical wavy design, so not only does it serve a practical purpose, they're also aesthetically pleasing.
