me too. It's funny. I was associated with very different folks in high school. I was in all the nerdy classes, did theatre, dressed like a freak and had a small, but fairly social group of friends. |

My school was small, so my friends and I had to multitask. We were the art, drama, and computer nerds, AND the freaks. But we weren't antisocial. We had each other. | |

Got to cap and gown day and there were people I didn't even recognize. But with numbers, the law of averages shows you might find at least a few people you can relate too, so all was ok. By my senior year I was a part of so many fractured groups of people it was crazy, though. My drama friends, my nerdy friends, the people I ate lunch with (and by outward appearance only would have been associated with by strangers) and the people I hung out with outside of school (I became quite the raver my senior year and that brought a whole new dimension of things in. ). |
