I posted a picture of myself at the lake this summer on another thread and I came across this picture I took on the same day. This nest was under the boat lift and these birds kept me entertained all summer (although they would get all pissy everytime we took the boat out).

They were born in the spring but by the end of summer the nest was getting a bit crowded. I guess these were modern birds who wanted to or needed tolive at home into their late 20's or early 30's They probably were just taking a break after college

Not exactly the cleanest house eaither.

Luckily for them the nest was at the front of the boat lift and none of the poop fell into the boat otherwise they would have been evicted.
