I think google is starting to use some kind of image recognition technology to provide search results. In other words, it can recognize a word within an image, such as a JPG or GIF. Porn sites are beginning to flood the search engines with images of nothing but keywords. These will show up as thumbnails in the Google image search results, but when you click the link to view the full size image, you are redirected to that domains home page instead.
