Yeah, it's an official Fox Home Video release in the UK. There's a disclaimer at the start of the movie and also in the blurb on the back cover. Don't you have a region-free player? No, But I am seriously thinking of getting one. Some of these cassette's I've had as long as I can remember (I'm almost 20, so I just rounded up to that) and I've played the shit out of them. As a kid I was none-too-gentle with them either -throwing them out car windows, stepping on them, etc. and most of them still sound great. My CD's on the other hand? Anything I've owned more than 2 years skips all over the place, and in some cases are worn to the point I can't play them anymore. So of course I want to get all the vhs flicks I adore on dvd... One of my faves is SubUrbia by Richard Linklater (1997). But it's only available on VHS  I know it wasn't very popular but fuck, it's a great little movie! What's the hold up? 
What movie has you waiting for its dvd release? I wouldn't be surprised if Suburbia makes it to DVD soon, especially with the recent success of Before Sunset. Both films are released through Warner Brothers, so I'd guess it will happen soon enough. They'll probably wait & do a Linklater box set or something.
