Depends on what U want to play it on.
I'm going to assume you're using a PC and not a mac (though mac's are better).

If U want to play it on your DVD player, then use Roxio 6 DVD Studio (or whatever they're calling it now). It's easy if not overly impressive.

If U want to just use it on your computer, and the people to view it are on PCs using MS office 97 or later, do it in power point.

But if you want it to be viewed via Internet Explorer, you can create web page using just about anything--Netscape offers a free HTML editor in their browser suite, and Macromedia makes the best web page designer (Dreamweaver MX).

I personally would do it in Flash , but Flash isn't much fun to learn.

You can download a 30 day trial of Flash MX here:

http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/

Try it and see how you get on.

I would do it in Flash too.

Check out SwishPix

http://www.swishzone.com/...roduct=pix

It can compile all your pics into a self-executable Flash file.

Actually, it would probabbly be easiest to do it in something like Powerpoint. There are plugins to convert powerpoint presentations to self-executable flash files, if you really decided you wanted that down the road.

Photo 2 VCD is quite good: http://www.photo2vcd.com/...loads.html

If you want more advanced fades and wipes, try ProShow Gold: http://www.photodex.com/p...oshowgold/
