I used to hate Chicago for a lot of reasons the first year or two I lived here, and the weather didn't help matters any. These days, I'm loving it here, and the weather's a small price to pay for living in a place in which I've really come to feel at home and happy and safe. Maybe one day I'll get sick of the Chicago winters, but to be honest, right now it just makes me all the more ecstatic when Spring finally rolls around and I'm able to pop open my windows again and let some sun and fresh air in.

i was born in chicago. i love it with all it's faults. when i go out of town i miss it. the winters are bad but i love summertime in chicago.

I live in Chicago but work in the northwest burbs. It took me 3 1/2 hours to get home tonight. Unbelievable.

HOWEVER, I still love this place and wouldn't dream of moving. The weather not only builds character, but it makes you appreciate spring and summer OH so much more.
