I won't say who the Orger is, but my best Orger-moment was back in 1998 when me and this person were walking down Commerce Ave. in my hometown on Longview, WA and out of nowhere, she yanks my arm towards a flower shop and exclaims, "C'mon! Let's go buy you a cactus!!"

Always makes me laugh when I think about it.

i've had as many "best moments" as I have "favorite songs" so, here's just a sample...

The 2nd celebration cos I was finally on the Org and was pushed into OrgAddiction after spending 6 incredible days with the likes of Rio, Moonbeam, Tron and Aaron.

The random Paisley Parties about a year and a half (?) ago when I got to meet TheBlueAngel and take him to 1st Ave.

The drunk as hell phone call with JD. I may not remember much but it was DAMN GOOD!

Meeting Sassy in the lot at Paisley during Musicology Madness.

The smoking party on my proch with TheBlueAngel the day after Musicology Madness.

Crazy car rides with Deja (as she noted)

Sharing the true, profane awfulness of "Prince Julian" with Anx and TOFKA in chi-town.

The Chi-town-Cure reunion (as Carrie noted)

COUNTLESS phone convos with Tron and a few adorable messages from Gooey.

EVERY GOTDAMNED MINUTE of the MPLS OrgInvasion.

k, I could keep goin, but I'd better stop now...

ok, i'll answer all serious-like (though seriously, i'll never forget my mudslide frolic with althom - it was like one of those international foods coffee commercial moments, only with lots more mud and sliding):

there were too many amazing moments in 2004 for me to remember, and i met too many damn people last year and every single person i met was wonderful, and i say that without a trace of platitudinal bullshit.

probably one of the most important encounters i've ever had with another orger was meeting TheBlueAngel for the first time, cuz he was the firstest orger i'd ever met, and we had a lot of great times hanging out together, including the weekend when he introduced me to TOFKA, who's not only one of my favorite people on the org, but one of my favorite people in the "real" world, being that we both live in chicago and get to hang out fairly regularly. really, if it wasn't for meeting these two people, i most likely wouldn'ta met any of the rest of yez, i don't think.

Finding that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with one of them.

And, of course, the MPLS Org Invasion, as a whole, was a freakin' delight. A DELIGHT, I say!

well all of my best moments with orgers were long before i was an orger too...

I've known several as close friends in real-life. so ehre are some small highlights, though mabye not great stories, they're some of my fonder memories:

The first orger I ever met...and i didn't know 'til yesterday he was an orger...was one I'd met online while still in NH. He was a MPLS-dweller, and i was goign to the first cel/my first vacation. We'd struck up quite a friendship online and had made plans to spend the paisley evenings together and have fun. Having made my fligth and hotel reservations online, and being both naive in that and under 21 (by a month, but still unable to rent a car at the time) he picked me up at the airport welcomed me to stay at his place the first night while awaiting my hotel booking, and even took me to work with him in the morning lol. It was quite fun I've spent many other "good times" with this undisclosed orger (he's not a big forum poster) though we slowly drifted apart and he has since moved out of state, as well as I. I still count him as a very close friend. ( No not that kind of friend, he's not really into girls) So,...thank you "Damn U" you know who you are if you read this....and answer my damn orgnote wouldya???

um...there's another that i've been great friends with for the last 4 years or more, not sure his org-name. We dated for a while and that eventually ended quite poorly, but have since remained very good friends..."Cue-it" you know who you are even if i don't LOL...

and finally, the most important of all of course...my husband. what else can be said about that?
