I have always loved porsches, I am hoping to do the minor repairs on theese and sell them in the spring, if it goes well maybe I'll be able to afford one to keep in the future.

I only looked into the bare minimum, for the shortest period of time so I could drive them home. That is not bad, I don't want to think about what decent insurance would be on them.

auction was for two, and I was looking for a car I could fairly quickly resell, and this came along. I had been looking locally at a 1966 912, but that turned out to need more work than it was worth

Poor mans porsche is still a relative term, but yeah theese are in almost anyones price range. Just the fact that you can't put kids in them or pay for repairs that keep a lot of people away from them.

924 and 944's are a blast to drive, they are perfectly balanced.
However they still don't come close to the 911's I have driven.

I need to see how much work they need to decide what to sell them for. The grey car needs paint where the hood was replaced. here in maine they will probably sell better in the spring.
