Given that those who are or make out that they are, may to some extent feel more uncomfortable with their own short comings. 5'9 1/2" tall is very statuesque for a woman; I have a friend who's 5'8" and people consider her quite tall...

Still, I don't restrict myself with regard to height. But as someone else mentioned in this thread, we're often of the impression that most women will not consider dating someone shorter.

Now that I think about it, my girlfriend in my last serious relationship was under five feet tall. I guess I often end up talking to the 'cute little petite women' when I'm out...

I'm 4'11'' and weigh just over 90 lbs. Overall that doesn't bother me, but it has at times put me at a social disadvantage. When I'm out with my friends -most of whom I'm at least a few months older than -I've been mistaken for someone's much younger sister. I've been ID'd going into a PG-13 movie. I'm more likely to be patted on the head and aksed which one of my friends is babysitting me than hit on by someone.

I'm sure when I'm 45, I'll love being ID'd everywhere, but at 19 it's a pain in the ass.

It doesn't intimidate me but I've never been with a girl taller than me. I'm 6 feet tall. There just arnt that many women taller than 6 feet really, percentage wise.
