I really try not to most of the time.
I'm keeping it to smoking only when I have these days.

I've given up, but if I hadn't I'd say after a meal, while drinking beer, while chatting on the org, while posting on the org, while walking, before and after taking my ventolin inhaler, in the shower, in an elevator, while scuba diving and while rescuing a stricken cat from a tree. Those would probably be the most common, were I still smoking.

endorphin74 said: My worst place for smoking is the car. EVERY time I get in a car, I want to light up. Even if I only get out of the car for 10 minutes to run an errand, once I get back in the car I automatically light-up again. This makes road trips very dangerous. I've been known to smoke almost a whole pack of cigarettes en route from MPLS to Chicago.
Only when I am in your porch! I don't need to light up though as there was enough to go around! You share!

Why did i go back? 'Cause I like it lol...but anyway, I think drinking is far worse than smoking. People you've never even been in the same building with don't die because you smoke, they can if you drink though. BTW not taking preventative health measures (something I'm guilty of as well), especially those that are available at free public health screenings is as bad as smoking "just because" etc. I do agree people shouldn't START necessarily, it's not a GOOD thing, but those that already do, well, that's part of them. Again, you don't give a shit about these people from the tone of your posts, so why bother preaching? You seem AWFUL pissed off about it.

Are you trying to say irresponsible second-hand smoke doesn't yield as many casualties as irresponsible drunk driving? Maybe I shouldn't put words in your mouth. What were you trying to say there, though? edit [Edited 1/2/05 2:38am]

That wasn't before he through his kitten at me which scratched me twice! When darin and I were driving home from Winnipeg many years ago he threw one out the window, only to have it blow back in and down his sleeve inbetween 2 layers of long sleeves so he didn't notice till it was practically burning a hole in his skin. Probably karma for littering, though. I could've dealth with the burn on my arm, but it also burned a BIG hole in my favorite Charlatans shirt!

My meal just somehow feels incomplete...and sometimes unfinished...until I've had one. It is awful hard not to overdo it when on the PC, and the first one of the morning is...refreshing, if somewhat a shock to the system on the go.

while i agree with your basic sentiment Squiggly, no one likes to have the obvious pointed out to them. 60% of smokers want to quit and wish they had never taken it up. it's really up to the smoker to quit, blah, blah, blah. while smoking will kill 2/3 of all long-term smokers, marijuana on the other hand has not been proven in any conclusive form to cause schizophrenia. the only thing that can cause schizophenia is shizophrenia itself. pot and other drugs are known to highlight the effects of the illness when taken in very large, abusive quantities over long periods of time, but they do not CAUSE it. .
