That has hot Asian chicks in it, right? Is there much of a plot, or is it just all fancy sword-fightin'?

I woke up the next morning feeling like a changed person!!! That's a rare movie that can do that for you. yeah I know what you mean i actually just watched it... the look in his eyes as he watches her dance and she says " Baby, your gonna miss your plane" and he goes " I know" like that was his plan all along... yowsa if I ever wanted to crawl into a movie it was that moment... really floored me. But i'm drunk lonley and romantic right now so... It gave me chills too. And I'll never forget her Nina Simone imitation. That film really takes you off the ground.

I will consider Bladerunner since it seems to be held in such high esteem by people whose taste I respect. I'll ask her if she's seen it. Keep those cards and letters comin', folks! On that line of thinking, you may also want to try Brazil Day After Tomorrow was astounding visually and suprisingly fun too

If you want comedy it's hard to go wrong with
Sherlock,Jr. by Buster Keaton Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin I can't imagine anyone not liking those movies. You might bust a rib from laughing too much though.

Kill Bill (vol 1 & 2 together)
Brazil (I know it's sci-fi, but so's 'Sleeper', it's like a black comedy version of 1984) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (wonderful mixture of kung fu action, and doomed/unrequited relationships. Pretty epic)

Get both Kill Bill movies and have a "Double Bill". Get it?
Try "Almost Famous". Great music, great acting. You'll laugh, you'll cry and all that jazz.
