I have SO SO SO needed a break. A Bob Day if you will. We have a temp for the holidays (glad I did that one) and she can use the money and I can use the time off. Though I am back from PTO...I was with my partner and his redneck family over the holiday(I love em all to death...but they are still rednecks).

I have been busting my butt at my job forever...and I feel like I can never take the day off cuz either the place goes to shit or I have like 100 emails waiting for me when I get back. I support way too many people and I have been doing double duty in order to impress someone to show them I could do the job for this position that opened up and they ended up hiring someone from the outside...even though I was doing the job. Everyday is like a calgon day.

But not today. Today is bon bons and Springer (or the Seinfeld Box set I got for X-mas). I already got the incense going. Coffee's being brewed. And I have a full day's pass to fun time island with full release. It's gonna be good times. And incase I don't enjoy today enough...I took tomorrow and Friday as well.

i'd love to take the day off. my sweetie is coming home from xmas vacation today, i'm in the middle of cleaning my apartment from ceiling to floorboards, and dammit all, i'm finally supposed to get my netflix movies that have been delayed for over a week for some godforsaken reason! aren't those enough reasons to be *cough cough* sick???

I just told the woman who's my boss that I am OUT the rest of the week. Everyone else is out for the most part. She could care less.

I actually have a fear now of being sick, because I am SO busy and take care of many things...like wiping their chins...It's hard to be away. Catching up is a real battle.
